Currently, on the basis of Presidential Decree #465 (30.12.2022), projects are being implemented in Koson Industrial Zone by the Qashqadaryo Regional Government and the «O’zto’qimachiliksanoat» association.

«Bunyodkor» LLC is implementing 3 major projects on 21 hectares of land, which is expected to create more than a thousand jobs and increase export volume by $30 million.

The $50 million textile project will be implemented in several stages — from expanding the workshop producing 5,200 tons of fabric annually, to dyeing, finishing, and expanding production for sewing finished knitwear products. Contracts have been signed for the purchase of modern equipment worth €14.4 million from Germany, Italy, Turkey, and Taiwan for this project.

In addition to the textile project, two other projects are being implemented. One is a $2.9 million project for processing 5,000 tons of cotton seeds, and the second is a $3 million project for the production of synthetic cottonseed oil.

Additionally, a two-stage project planned for 2023-2024 with a total value of $56 million for «Fabric production, dyeing, finishing, and manufacturing of finished knitwear products» is in development.
